When something does not work

Read the error, find the post or request that failed, look it up in Help, and if that does not solve it, message the team from the dashboard or have your agent report it.

Steps

  1. Step 1 Read the error

Every error from uplika has a code (such as post_not_found), a sentence that says what happened, and often a Help link. Your agent sees all three. If it only says that something failed, ask it for the code and the sentence.

  2. Step 2 Find the failed post

Open Sent. A post that did not go out says Failed or Partly published, and each channel shows its own reason. Fix the reason, then click Retry.

  3. Step 3 Look at the request log

Logs lists the requests your agent and API keys made, with each response. Pick Client error (4xx) or Server error (5xx) in the response filter to see only the failures. Copy requestId gives you the id to send us.

  4. Step 4 Look it up in Help

Help answers the common problems by error code and by channel. Your agent can read the same answers: ask it to look up the code with get_help.

  5. Step 5 Message the team from the dashboard

Click Contact at the bottom right of the dashboard. A person on the Uplika team reads this and replies to your account email. Nothing you write here is posted or run. Say what went wrong and on which screen or channel, and attach screenshots if you have them.

  6. Step 6 Or have your agent report it

In the chat where it went wrong, say: "Tell the uplika team about this." The agent shows you what it will send, then sends your words with a summary of what it tried. uplika attaches its own record of your recent failed requests, and the reply goes to your account email.

Reports have a daily limit per account, and the same problem is mailed to the team once a day. The Help entry below has the details.

If you get stuck

Try it on your own accounts

Connect a channel, add uplika to the agent you already use, and ask it to post. No card to start.
