Post to social media from Claude
Claude can post to Instagram, Threads, YouTube through uplika, a hosted MCP server. How to connect it, what to ask it, and what each channel allows.
Yes. Once uplika is added as a custom connector, Claude can publish to Threads, Instagram, YouTube, Facebook, Bluesky, Telegram, Naver Blog, answer replies and read how posts did. uplika is a hosted MCP server: Claude signs in with OAuth, so there is no API key to paste and nothing to install.

How to connect Claude
Open the add window in Claude
The button opens Claude with the name and address already filled in.
Press Add
Check that the name is uplika and the address matches, then press Add. If the fields are empty, paste this address in Customize → Connectors → Add custom connector.
Approve and start publishing
Confirm the permissions in the browser and allow. Open a new chat and uplika shows up in the tool list.

Anything that goes out in public acts on your own accounts. The server tells agents to confirm the text and the channels with you first.

What each channel allows
Questions
Can Claude post to Instagram directly?
Not by itself. Claude has no access to your Instagram account. With uplika added as a connector, Claude calls uplika's publish tool and uplika posts to the Instagram account you connected, through Instagram's official API.
Do I paste an API key into Claude?
No. Claude registers itself with uplika's OAuth server and you approve it in the browser. API keys are only for calling the REST API directly.
